Family, friends, and prayer warriors — we are walking through a very heavy season. My sonson, my 23-year-old stepson, has been diagnosed with a rare form of foot cancer and will begin chemotherapy soon. We were in the process of getting resources to help him one day live independently when an infection turned into him having all the toes on one foot amputated. He has gone through physical therapy to learn how to walk again, and now faces this new diagnosis.

My husband is also battling multiple medical conditions, and I am doing everything I can to care for them both. I’ve created a GoFundMe to help us stay afloat while I step fully into the caregiver role God has placed before me. This journey has brought unexpected challenges, and the financial strain is overwhelming. With my focus on caring for my sonson and husband, I am unable to work as I once did.
