Our family is heartbroken as my aunt’s children face an unimaginable loss after their mother, Irai Torres, was tragically taken from them. She was an incredible mom who was deeply involved in her children’s lives and brought joy, love, and hope to everyone she met. Irai inspired everyone who crossed her path with her kindness, strength, and compassion. As a hospice nurse, she touched countless lives, always showing that when there’s a will, there’s a way. Her greatest pride and joy was being a mother—she was a dedicated football mom, excited to also be a baseball mom, and never missed an opportunity to support and uplift her children.

Now, her children—an eight-year-old, a twelve-year-old, a nineteen-year-old daughter, and a twenty-four-year-old with special needs who requires 24/7 care—are left without their parents and need support more than ever. We are raising funds to help cover funeral expenses, bills, daily needs for her minor children, and to support her children’s future. Our goal is to honor Irai’s legacy by giving her children the stability, care, and opportunities she worked so hard to provide.
