Hello
I was in church yesterday and the Pastor said to tell your story. Here goes...
For the past couple years, I have been going through things. Because I am a private person, many don't about it. These have been private situations because of the judgements, talk behind your back, shakes of the heads, ridicule, etc. Because of situations, I have had multiple strokes, depression, anxiety/panic attacks and am still going through it. Only a small group of people know what I have been going through because those are the ones that I know will help to see me through. The ones that will do the wellness checks and stop bys. The ones that will love on me when needed. What situations you may ask...
Since 2018, my older son has been going through things. These things have lead to not the best outcome. The choices that have been made makes it a little harder for him to obtain things. While I continue to be there to support and love him as a parent should, it is hard to watch this as it makes me feel like a failure as a parent and a person. It makes me start to question what it is that I did wrong. But to God be the Glory I know that I have done the best job that I could have done.
Almost a month ago, my younger son, got caught up in a situation. Wrong place, wrong time, wrong people. Because of this, he is being charged with a crime that he did not commit. Due to the severity of the crime, he is currently being held and I need to get him a lawyer. While the public defender did a good job, this is not a case for them. I am asking people for help. Anything you can do would be greatly appreciated. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. If you know of a good criminal lawyer you could recommend rather than me doing a google search :) that would be greatly appreciated.
I believe if you did the crime then you need to do the time. I do believe in one taking accountability for their actions. In this instance, he needs to be at home because he is not guilty of this.
If you are unable to help, I thank you for reading. Thank you for listening to my story. Keep us in your prayers and be blessed.
Thank you in advance
