Hi everyone. The Medical Respite & Sobering Center is raising funds for one of our security officers from Winston Security, Tus Kitamirike, who was injured on the job on Tuesday, March 31st, 2026. It was an unfortunate incident where our relief security officer was assaulted by one of our now former patients and has suffered an orbital fracture. I've been in contact with the security officer who has been in good spirits. I created this GoFundMe in hopes that we all can contribute and help our security officer along the way while they are recovering from the fracture.

As of Thursday, April 2nd, the former Medical Respite patient is now in police custody.
