Support Injured Recycling Worker After Workplace Accident

Donation protected
Hi, my name is John, and I am raising funds for my coworker Navjot Singh.

Navjot has been living in Canada since 2019. He came to Canada as an international student with the goal of building a better future for his family. After completing his studies, he worked hard to establish himself and support his household.

For the past 12 months, Navjot has been employed as a Residential Driver with GFL. While performing his regular work duties, he was involved in a serious workplace accident where his right foot was run over by a recycling truck, resulting in severe damage to his foot.

According to his doctors, the recovery process may take several months and could take up to 1.5 years. They have also advised that he may not be able to return to the same physically demanding work in the future because the middle part of his foot may lose stability and mobility.

This injury has had a significant financial impact on his family. Due to his condition, his wife has had to take time off work to help care for him during his recovery, which has further reduced their household income.

We are asking for support during this difficult time to help cover living expenses and medical costs while Navjot focuses on healing and rebuilding his life. Any support, no matter how small, would mean a great deal to him and his family.

If you are unable to donate, sharing this fundraiser would also be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for your kindness and support.
