Support for injured PPA officer and his family
Donation protected
My name is Tim Devlin and I’m a good friend/ex co-worker at the PPA. It is absolutely horrible what they are putting him and his family through. Please help support a great cause and a great guy! Let’s show him there’s some good left in the world!
Tim McKenzie is the PPA officer who was brutally shot in the back of the head for absolutely no reason whatsoever back on 11-25-22. Through the grace of God he miraculously survived. The bullet disintegrated his C-1 vertebrae, broke his jaw, and stayed in the right side of his neck for 14 weeks until it was surgically removed. As you can imagine it has been a long and difficult process. He was put in a Halo device for 12 weeks, his jaw was wired shut for 12 weeks, and has complete nerve damage on the left side of his face. Luckily Tim has avoided any paralysis, he continues to recover today.
Tim is suffering to this day with PTSD, depression, and pain. Besides going through this terrible ordeal, the PPA has terminated his and his wife’s personal health insurance, has shorted his pay thousands of dollars while out on disability and has had 0 contact with Tim since 02-23. Tim has an attorney for workman’s comp and has filed petitions on his behalf, but as we all know the court system is a drawn out process. Please help Tim and his family anyway you can get through this terrible situation.
Tim is happily married since 9-17-21, he has a 14 year old daughter who starts high school this school year and a 26 year old stepdaughter. There was a news story which aired on Fox 29 on July 1st and 3rd, it is absolutely disgraceful what is happening and hope we can make life just a little easier for him and his family while this is tied up in court.
Tim could use help with medical expenses, Rent, utilities, bills, etc. Anything we can do would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, God Bless, and please continue to pray for Mr. McKenzie and his family.
