On Friday, July 2, a storm raged through the Tucson neighborhood where Ileyn, Rafael, and their one-year-old daughter Rafaella live. The damage was sudden and severe. 75% of the Camacho-Godoy’s home was damaged and flooded, including complete destruction of the roof. They were forced to grab what they could and flee. Fortunately, the family and their pets are unharmed, but they lost many personal belongings and are in temporary housing for the foreseeable future as their home is rebuilt.
