As many of you are aware, Igor Acko, renowned expert on the Central African Republic, died in Bangui on May 13 after a brief illness. He was 38. His passing is a tremendous loss not only for his family and friends, but for his many colleagues in CAR and beyond who benefited from his wisdom and his commitment to peacebuilding.

Igor leaves behind his spouse and 11-month old daughter, as well as his parents, brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews.

We have organized this fundraiser for Igor's family. It will be open for two weeks, until June 9. In mid-June, a colleague will deliver the funds to Igor's family in Bangui.
