This is Kay, Ignacio's Nephew and Dulce, his Niece. We are helping our Uncle's family navigate through this difficult time. He was the greatest person we have known, he taught us to be kind to others and help everyone in need. We will forever be grateful for him and consider him as a second father to us. Please see below, a message from his beloved son.

"Dear Friends and Family,

My name is Kevin Rodriguez, and it is with a heavy heart that I reach out to you today. We are mourning the loss of a beloved husband, father, and uncle, Ignacio Rodriguez. My father passed away unexpectedly, leaving behind a legacy of love, sacrifice, and unwavering dedication to his family.

My father always put his family first, embodying the essence of selflessness. His love and care extended to everyone around him, including his furry companions. He had a special place in his heart for cats and dogs, and he adored spoiling Bon Bon, our family dog, whom he affectionately called his grandson.

My father never hesitated to help anyone in need, whether emotionally or financially. He was a rock for many, always there with a kind word or a helping hand. Even while taking care of his family in the U.S., he sent money back to Mexico to support his mother, showcasing his deep sense of responsibility and love.

About 30 years ago, my father came to the U.S. with a dream of giving his family a better life. He worked tirelessly every day, often taking little to no time off, sacrificing his own needs for the well-being of his family. This year, he and my mother, Maria Elena Hernandez, were looking forward to celebrating 37 years of marriage, a testament to their enduring love and commitment.

As the main earner and provider for our family, my father's sudden passing has left us facing overwhelming expenses. My mother, is unable to work full time due to health issues. My sister Ingrid works full-time with inconsistent hours and has her own set of expenses that makes her unable to cover all expenses and I am a full-time student who also works part-time. We are now struggling to cover our rent, utilities, and food for the next six months as we figure out how to manage without his income.

We humbly ask for your support in honoring my father's memory and helping our family through this difficult time. Your contributions will go towards funeral costs and ensuring we can navigate this challenging period without additional financial burdens.
