My name is Hamza, and I am raising funds for my cousin Hussein’s family. Hussein and I grew up together in the same house for 17 years, and he was not only my closest cousin but also one of the greatest people I have ever known. Tragically, Hussein passed away at just 25 years old after a devastating car accident. He fought for his life in the hospital for 10 days, suffering from severe lung issues and brain damage. During this time, his family faced heartbreaking challenges, as many hospitals in Iraq refused to accept him as a patient. The hospital that finally admitted him lacked the technology and medicine he desperately needed, but it was their only option.
Hussein’s father, the sole provider for the family, did everything he could to save his son. He borrowed money to pay for medical bills, sold belongings, and even parted with his vehicle. Despite his efforts, the financial and emotional toll has been overwhelming. Hussein’s mother is now hospitalized from the shock of losing her son, and the family is struggling to cope with both grief and debt.
All funds raised will go directly to paying off the medical bills Hussein’s father borrowed to cover, as well as funeral expenses. I am reaching out to friends, family, and anyone who sees this to please help support Hussein’s family during this incredibly difficult time. Your kindness and prayers mean the world to us, and any support you can offer will make a real difference.
