My husband, Eric Sample, suffered a heart attack on May 2nd, 2026, and our lives have been turned upside down. The medical bills keep coming, and he’s only able to work half time, making it difficult to keep up with everyday expenses. To make things even more challenging, he now has to wear a LifeVest, which is a defibrillator, because he’s at risk of his heart completely stopping. He was only approved for 30 days of use, but his doctors say he needs to wear it for at least 6 months to stay safe.

The funds raised through this campaign will go directly toward medication expenses, medical device costs—including the LifeVest—bills, and housing expenses.
