Support for Hunter and Kristin Murch
Donation protected
Summer is coming and the Murch family would be honored by your love and support. As you know it’s been a difficult year for everyone 20-21, but especially for the Murch family as they take extra covid precautions for Hunter’s sake. Hunter continues to use the Optune device for his glioblastoma, which has shrunk as measured by his MRI’s, now needed only every 2-3 months.
The donations will help with expenses for the family since they will continue to need to quarantine. Scott, Finn, and Grady have remained home for this school year, while their schools returned to in-person in April. They don’t want to risk exposure to any new variants. This precaution will continue for them through the summer.
In planning for summer survival, they have determined their risk level and know what is best for them. Kristin has done her research and found safe alternatives. There is a YMCA family camp where they can have some safe summer fun in their own Northern Lights cabin. Kristin also envisions family fun paddle-boarding on some inflatables which they could drive to various lakes. Additional crafts like clay would provide some opportunities to keep hands and minds busy, even on the days when they can’t head out. Our combined support of $3,000 could cover these summer dreams. Any additional funds would help with the many costs connected with Hunter’s care and changing family needs.
Thank you for all of your encouraging words and deeds during this past 30-month journey.
