David Andrade is a light in every room—energetic, full of life, joyful, and undeniably charismatic. A talented mechanic, an incredible dancer, and, most importantly, a devoted father to his two daughters.

Like many, he faced his struggles. Battling addiction, he made the brave decision to leave everything behind and move to Kentucky for a fresh start.

Over the past 24 months, he worked hard every single day to rebuild his life—committed to becoming the father his daughters deserve. He was trying. He was growing. He was finding his way back.

Tragically, David was involved in a devastating motorcycle accident that left him with a severe skull fracture. He is currently on life support.

In the midst of this heartbreak, something unexpected happened. Due to a mix-up, the wrong family was initially contacted as next of kin, and because he was believed to be an organ donor, he was rushed to the hospital to preserve his body.

When his identity was confirmed, we were finally contacted. That delay—though painful and confusing—became a miracle. It gave us the time we never would have had… time to be by his side, to hold him, to speak to him, and to be with him during these final, precious moments.

We are now in Kentucky, staying by his side, cherishing every moment with him as he remains on life support and prepares to give the ultimate gift—organ donation.

Even in this, he has the capacity to save multiple lives. That is who David is: selfless, giving, and full of heart.

Now, we are asking for your help.

Our goal is to bring David home to the Pacific Northwest, where his family, friends, and community are waiting to honor him.

His father, Francisco, his grandmother, Vicky, and his sister, Rocio, all deserve the chance to be with him and say their goodbyes. And his daughters deserve to have their dad surrounded by the people who love him most.

The cost of transporting him home, along with future funeral arrangements and travel expenses for his daughters and family, is overwhelming during this already painful time.
