Hudson is my daughter, and she has shown incredible strength since the day she was born. At just 31 weeks, I experienced a full spontaneous uterus rupture and placenta abruption, which led to an emergency delivery. Hudson spent 12 weeks in the NICU, fighting every day to grow stronger. During that time, I underwent seven emergency procedures myself, and our family has faced challenge after challenge.

Hudson was diagnosed with cerebral palsy as a result of her birth injury. Every day brings new hurdles, but also new reasons to be proud of her resilience. Recently, our situation became even more difficult when her father stopped paying child support. This has made it hard to cover the basics—groceries, doctor visits, transportation, and food.
