We count Tabatha (a.k.a. Tab, Tabs, Pastor, Pastor T, Pastor Tabatha), as a friend, auntie, teacher, pastor, warrior, accomplice, speaker, agitator, organizer and neighbor. She has held us in our suffering, given us spiritual shelter, helped us find grace in times of adversity, and baptized our children.

At this time, this beautiful being is in crisis - financially and spiritually. She is tired. She is profoundly overworked and remarkably underpaid. She is drowning under the weight of a society that refuses to acknowledge their inherent worth and goodness. Tabatha is working multiple jobs, wearing an array of hats and juggling impossible schedules; lacking the time, resources and energy to care for herself and continue on in health.

Added to this is the reality that her partner is facing challenges as well. As a couple, they’ve brought clarity to the relevance and weight of partnership. They’ve welcomed friends into their home to talk pathways to liberation over home cooked meals. They’ve held their own in public conversation while holding multiple truths and shining light on injustice. They’ve reminded us that love and liberation, healing and justice are the way forward.

So, we are boldly coming together to provide radically regenerative financial support. To gift Tabatha’s household the spaciousness to rest, recover, heal, be in grace and bloom once again. We stand in awe of the ways they have shown up for us again and again. We see it is our time to stand tall for them and offer a more secure way forward.
