On November 15, our beloved Honorio Dondiego passed away suddenly at home from an aneurysm. He had no medical history, and the judge requested an autopsy to understand what happened. Honorio was a devoted father, husband, and friend, cherished by his family, coworkers, and everyone who knew him. He always believed in his health and worked hard to provide a loving home for us all. His loss has left a deep void in our lives and brought unexpected challenges.


Without a will, we now face legal fees to become Executors of the Estate, and my 21-year-old son is making the difficult decision to leave his job in Colorado to help us keep the home Honorio worked so hard to maintain. We are struggling with urgent repairs to our water heater, which caused our gas bill to triple, and our only vehicle needs immediate attention. We also have two dogs and three cats who need care and warmth during the winter. On top of everything, I am dealing with my own health issues, including seizures and severe leg pain, and am awaiting an MRI to find answers. Navigating survivor benefits and SSI has been overwhelming, especially with local offices closed.


We are reaching out for help to cover legal fees, home and car repairs, and pet care, so we can stay in the home Honorio wanted to leave to his son and granddaughter.
