Support for Hon. Alberto Alarcon

This fund is to assist in covering the much needed medical care that Honorable/Father Alberto "Bert" Alarcon needs after his stroke earlier this year.
The Hon. Alarcon has graciously served as the Grand Treasurer for the F.&A.M. Grand Lodge of Hawaii for more than 10 years. He also serves as the Treasurer and a Trustee for Hawaiian Lodge F.&A.M. He has always given generously of his time without any thought of payment for his efforts.
In April, Bert suffered two severe strokes in successive weeks. This was in the midst of his busiest time of year, when Bert, a tax accountant for many years, was in the midst of preparing and finalizing tax returns for his many clients. He was in the hospital and rehab for about a month, and is now at home recuperating. He is very weak and requires around-the-clock care. Partially paralyzed on one side, he is unable to resume his tax service or his duties as an Episcopal priest. His medical and health care expenses are beyond the means of his family and he has exhausted all of his medical and medicare benefits. We are reaching out to all of you to contribute whatever you can to help him in his time of need.
This fund will go towards the costs of his ongoing medical care.
