Support for Holly Fritz and Family

Dear friends and family,
I’m reaching out on behalf of my dear friend and co-worker Holly Fritz, who was diagnosed with a brain tumor at the end of last year and is now in need of our help to overcome some challenges her family faces.
Her diagnosis:
Holly was diagnosed with a brain tumor in 2009 and underwent surgery to have it removed. Though the surgery was successful in removing the tumor, it came with multiple complications including debilitating migraines, the loss of hearing in one ear and many other issues that she handles with more grace than most. In December 2023 Holly was taken to the ER where they found she had another, larger tumor. After further testing they discovered more tumors and she was diagnosed with neurofibromatosis type 2. On February 9th she underwent a 10 hour surgery at IU Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis to remove the tumor at the base of her cerebellum. That surgery was successful as well, however, after 7 days she was readmitted to the hospital with a CSF leak. This also unexpectedly extended the hotel stay in Indianapolis for her husband and daughter. Holly has now been home for a few days but has a long road of recovery ahead of her.
Holly’s road to recovery:
Holly will be off work and extended amount of time while her daughter, Sabrina cares for her. Her husband Tony will be working during this time to offset some of the medical bills that are already coming in as well as everyday expenses.
How you can help:
In an effort to alleviate some of the financial burden and ensure Holly can focus on her healing and recovery we have set up this GoFundMe campaign. Every donation, no matter how small will go directly towards covering her medical expenses. It is never easy to ask for help but I know this family has an amazing community standing behind them offering to help shoulder this burden.
