On the evening of December 14, 2025, my dear friend Holly and her children were involved in a serious head on collision on the highway caused by a drunk driver. It is every parent’s worst nightmare.

By some miracle, her kids walked away with only minor injuries and were discharged from the hospital the following day. We are beyond grateful for that. Holly, however, was not as lucky. She sustained a broken collarbone and severe injuries to her ankle that will require multiple surgeries and a long recovery.

Holly will be unable to work for the next few months as she focuses on healing and caring for her children. As anyone can imagine, this accident has turned her world upside down, especially with Christmas just days away. The last thing she should have to worry about during this time is financial stress.

If you know Holly, you know she is one of the kindest, gentlest souls you will ever meet. She has a heart of gold, is an incredible mother, and would give the shirt off her back to help someone else. Now it is our turn to show up for her.
