Holden Ward III, known to many as Jack, has always been the person you could count on—whether you were family, a friend, a co-worker, or a customer at Firestone, Merchant Tire, or NTB. For 40 years, Jack dedicated himself to his work as a manager and technician, rarely missing a day and often spending his days off helping others at the shop. He is a devoted father to two daughters and a son, and a proud grandfather to three granddaughters.
Recently, Jack’s life changed dramatically. What started as a routine dental implant turned into a life-altering diagnosis when a biopsy revealed malignant cancer in his upper jaw. At 63, after a lifetime of hard work and caring for others, Jack now faces a long and difficult journey. He underwent major surgery, where doctors rebuilt his jaw using bone and muscle tissue, and he has just completed an intense round of treatment. Since September 2025, Jack has not been able to return to the shop he loves so much, and he now faces the challenge of regaining his strength and health.
Jack lives alone, and the mounting medical bills and everyday expenses have become overwhelming. Our family is reaching out to ask for your support during this incredibly stressful time. Every donation, no matter the size, will help cover Jack’s medical and household bills as he focuses on healing. We are deeply grateful for any help you can give to support Jack on his road to recovery. Thank you for standing with our family and for helping a man who has always been there for others.
