Today, we are humbly asking for help for one of our own Hinas board member and her Family.

A devastating house fire has left her family with so much loss. In a matter of moments, their home was in flames, treasured belongings loss, and most tragically, two beloved cats who did not survive the fire. Their two dogs are currently fighting for their lives. They were trapped inside for an extended period of time. The dogs suffered severe smoke inhalation and burns. They are receiving emergency veterinary care, and have been put oxygen, pain medication, treatment for their burns, and intensive monitoring for serious lung damage and other complications caused by the smoke.

The veterinary team believes they have a chance, but giving them that chance comes with significant medical expenses. Due to the severity of their injuries and the level of critical care required, veterinary costs could reach $30,000 or more as they continue treatment and fight for recovery.

Those of you who know Hina's Legacy know that we rarely ask for help for ourselves. We are the ones who show up for the animals. We are the ones asking for fosters, collecting donations, transporting dogs, fundraising for medical bills, and doing everything we can to help the animals and families in need.

But today, one of our own needs us.

This family has already lost so much. They are grieving the loss of two beloved cats, facing the reality of losing their home and belongings, and now fighting to save the lives of their dogs.

We have created a GoFundMe to help ease the burden of these emergency veterinary expenses and provide support during this incredibly difficult time.
