My best friend, Jaclyn is only 38 years old, and she’s battling cancer for the third time—after beating breast cancer twice, she is now facing uterine cancer.

Even while going through painful, exhausting treatments, she is still showing up to work as a hairstylist because she has no PTO, no sick leave, and no financial safety net. If she doesn’t work, she doesn’t get paid. And the treatments she needs to survive are extremely expensive and not fully covered by insurance.

She’s fighting for her life while trying to hold her life together at the same time.
