With heavy hearts, we share the sudden passing of Yadira Lanza, a beloved member of our Italkraft family.
At only 43 years old, she left us far too soon. She was not only a dedicated employee who worked with Italkraft for many years, but more importantly she was a loving mother of three children in Niagara — one of whom had previously passed away — who were the center of her entire world. Everything she did was for them.
To those who worked alongside her, she was known for her kindness, reliability, and quiet strength. She showed up every day with a positive attitude, a willingness to help others, and a work ethic you could always depend on. She cared deeply about her job, her coworkers, and took pride in everything she did. She was the kind of person who never hesitated to step in when someone needed support.
Outside of work, her greatest joy was being a mother. She spoke about her children constantly and worked tirelessly to provide them with a safe, stable, and loving life. Her passing has left a tremendous void in their lives and in the hearts of everyone who knew her.
In accordance with her family’s wishes, she will be brought back to her homeland for her final goodbyes and laid to rest surrounded by her extended family. She will also be placed alongside her son, bringing her back to rest with him. The expenses associated with transporting her internationally are significant, and this fundraiser will help make that possible.
We are creating this fundraiser to support her two surviving children and family during this unimaginable time. The funds will help with funeral arrangements, transportation to her home country, and to provide stability and care for the children as they navigate life without their mother.
Any contribution, no matter the size, will make a difference. If you are unable to donate, please consider sharing this page and keeping her children and family in your thoughts and prayers.
She will always be remembered by her Italkraft family — not only as a coworker, but as a friend, a mother, and a truly good person who touched many lives.
Thank you for your kindness, love, and support.
