This is Alessandra, David, Angelica and Francesco. We are raising funds for our beloved corner deli, Garden Gourmet Deli & Grill, owned by Khalid Sarsour. The deli is on the corner of Henry Street and Union Street in Brooklyn. On the morning of Sunday, July 12, there was a terrible accident and a car crashed into their store, where Khalid and Roberto were both standing behind the counter.

Luckily, they are unharmed, but it will take a while for the deli to be repaired and open for business. We hope the community will come through with donations to tide them over until they are up and running again.

**UPDATE: 7/13 the car that caused the accident was uninsured so Khalid is having to pay for repairs out of pocket. Just the temporary door he had installed cost $2300. Please help if you can!
