My name is Ana. My dad, Hector, passed suddenly on Sunday, February 1st. He had been battling cancer for a few years, and a routine procedure became complicated. Our family is absolutely devastated.

He left a grieving wife. They were together, then married, for more than 40 years. She lost her soulmate. My siblings and I are inconsolable, and wish we had more time with him.

My papa was a strong, hardworking man who cared about family above all else. He loved working with cars and figuring out how things worked. He was constantly trying to make my mom laugh and was passionate in all he put his mind to.

I truly don’t know how we will keep going.

We want to send him off with dignity and warmth. Our family knows that many are out there struggling, but we ask that you give what you can. We will use any funds gained towards his services and to help situate my mom during this turbulent time.
