Con el corazón en la mano, compartimos que nuestro querido padre, Hector M. Cruz, está enfrentando una batalla dura de su vida con cáncer en etapa 4. Para muchos es un gran amigo, un hijo dedicado y un hermano cariñoso. Para nosotros es nuestro pilar, un padre amoroso de cuatro hijos, incluyendo dos menores de 13 años. Nuestras vidas a estado marcada por su alegría, su risa y la manera en que siempre ha estado presente para su familia.

Hector es un hombre fuerte y de gran corazón. Ha luchado contra un cáncer en etapa 4 casi en silencio y aun en el medio del dolor, sigue siendo un hombre bueno, lleno de amor para su familia. Su presencia llena cualquier espacio, y estamos valorando cada momento que todavía tenemos con él.

Uno de sus mayores deseos es poder descansar en su tierra natal, la República Dominicana, el lugar que lo vio crecer y donde están sus raíces. Lamentablemente, su condición no le ha permitido regresar. Como familia, estamos haciendo todo lo posible para poder cumplir su deseo cuando llegue el momento y darle una despedida digna y en paz.

En este momento tan difícil, pedimos su apoyo. Los costos del traslado y el entierro son muy altos para nuestra familia, especialmente porque hay niños pequeños que dependen de él. Cualquier donación, por pequeña que sea, nos ayuda a acercarnos a cumplir su última voluntad y a aliviar un poco la carga económica que estamos enfrentando.

Si no puede donar, le pedimos de corazón una oración, un pensamiento bonito, o que comparta este mensaje para que llegue a más personas y nos ayudencon los gastos nesesario para ese ultimo momento. Su apoyo, su cariño y su solidaridad significan más de lo que podemos expresar con palabras.

With heavy hearts, we share that our beloved father, Hector M. Cruz, is currently facing the hardest battle of his life. To many, he is a loyal friend, a devoted son, and a caring sibling. To us, he is our anchor, a loving father to four children, two of whom are still under the age of 13. Our lives have been shaped by his warmth, his laughter, and the way he shows up for the people he loves without hesitation.

My father carries a quiet strength. He has been fighting stage 4 cancer largely in silence, hoping to protect others from worry while holding onto hope himself. Even in pain, he remains kind. Even in fear, he remains generous with his love. His presence fills every room with life, and we are holding onto every moment we still have with him.

One of his deepest wishes is to be laid to rest in his hometown in the Dominican Republic, the place that shaped him and holds his roots. Unfortunately, his condition has made it impossible for him to return home. As a family, we are trying to prepare to honor this final wish when the time comes, and to do so in a way that brings him peace and dignity.

We are asking for help during one of the hardest moments of our lives. The costs of arranging transportation and burial are overwhelming for our family, especially with young children who depend on him. Any donation, no matter the size, brings us closer to being able to fulfill his last wish and ease some of the financial burden we are facing.
