Hello my name is Vanessa, This Go Fund me is for my Father, Hector Romero.

On May 14th, 2026, he collapsed due to fluid in his lungs which caused him to stop breathing. The Paramedics were on the scene and luckily got to him in seconds but his heart did not start for 10 minutes. Due to the lack of oxygen, the hospital had to put my father on a ventilator to breathe for him. He has been in a coma state ever since. We still have hope, but there is no certainty that he will wake up without needing extensive care or wake up at all. My father is a good man and an amazing father/grandfather. He has a wife, 10 children, 5 grandchildren and an unmeasurable amount of family and friends that still need him. We ask for your prayers, your faith, guidance and We appreciate everyone who helps share this while we navigate the next steps in this unprecedented situation.
