Heather Hernandez was truly magnetic. Her energy drew people in and made them feel good. She was funny, high-spirited, and mischievous, always bringing joy and laughter to her family, friends, and everyone she met. Heather loved her family deeply, cherished her pets, and was fiercely loyal to her friends. She was also a passionate supporter of the Army team and celebrated every victory over the Navy.

The loss of Heather is tragic. She is survived by her husband, Patrick, and six children. Her absence leaves a tremendous void in the lives of those who loved her, and her family is now facing the difficult challenge of moving forward without her.

Funds raised will help Patrick and the children with immediate needs during this difficult time. Any additional support will be set aside for childcare, education, and enrichment opportunities — experiences that let the kids explore, grow, and thrive. Ensuring they have continued access to camps, activities like band and sports, and the kind of support that broadens their world is one more way to carry her legacy forward.
