I am creating this fundraiser for my friend, Heather, who unexpectedly lost her son, Jeremy, last night. Jeremy collapsed while playing basketball with his friends. Jeremy was attending college down at Muskingum and played for their football team. Jeremy was a kind, fun, and athletic young man who enjoyed playing all different sports and hanging with his buddies, many of whom have been friends with him since grade school. Anyone that knows Jeremy knows he was a wonderful kid and a good friend.

Heather is now facing the unimaginable pain of losing her only child. The suddenness of Jeremy’s passing has left her with not only emotional heartbreak, but also the unexpected financial burden of bringing Jeremy home from Muskingum and covering funeral expenses. Jeremy touched so many lives with his warmth, humor, and generosity, and his absence will be deeply felt by everyone who knew him.

Any money donated will go straight to Heather to help with the cost of bringing Jeremy home, funeral related costs, and hopefully additional funds so Heather may take time off of work to grieve the unimaginable loss of her only child. Any support, whether through a donation or by sharing this fundraiser, would mean the world to Heather and all who loved Jeremy.
