For over 25 years, Heather has been the heart and soul of Meyer Veterinary Hospital. As our longtime Practice Manager, she has dedicated her career to caring for pets, supporting clients through difficult times, and mentoring countless team members with compassion, grace, and unwavering strength.
Whether it was staying late with a worried pet parent, organizing countless clinic improvements, or simply showing up with a smile and kind word on the toughest days, Heather has always gone above and beyond for everyone around her.
Now, Heather needs us.
This past week, Heather experienced a sudden and life-threatening health emergency. A blood clot formed and traveled to her brain, requiring emergency brain surgery. She is currently in the hospital in critical condition.
At this time, her family is facing incredibly difficult decisions regarding her ongoing care and quality of life. The emotional and financial toll of this situation is unimaginable, and they are doing everything they can to support Heather through this critical time.
We’ve created this fundraiser to help ease some of that burden. Donations will go directly toward medical expenses, travel and lodging for her family, and any other needs that arise during this journey.
Heather has spent decades giving her all to our clients, patients, and team. If you’ve ever had the pleasure of working with her, having her care for your pet, or simply crossing paths with her, you know the strength and kindness she brings to every moment.
Please consider donating or sharing this page. Every contribution — no matter the size — will help support Heather and her loved ones as they navigate the days ahead.
With deep gratitude,
The Meyer Veterinary Hospital Team
