My boyfriend has been battling Congestive Heart Failure since 2021. Up until this year, the left side of his heart was only working at 15-20%, but now it has dropped below 12%. Because of this, he needs to undergo heart surgery to have an LVAD implanted—a device that will help his heart function for him. The risks are very high because his heart is so weak, and we are both scared about what could happen. The doctors have told us that the surgery is necessary, but there is a real risk to his life because of how serious his condition is.

We have both been out of work for a while, and our bills are piling up. The cost of staying with him in the hospital is very expensive, and we are struggling to keep up with everything. It’s been incredibly hard on us emotionally and financially, and we are reaching out for help because we don’t know what else to do. Every little bit will help us cover medical bills, living expenses, and the costs of being together during this difficult time.
