Support for Health Recovery Journey

Dear Friends and Family,

There comes a time in our lives when we have to ask for help. I have had three major health crises since March of this year that have reduced my ability to work full-time as a Counseling Psychologist. I returned from vacation with allergic bronchitis from mold exposure. I could not speak above a whisper and had frequent coughing spells. Two weeks later, I developed bleeding in the macula involving my right eye and I developed blurred vision and double vision that further inhibited my work. The bleeding stopped after three injections into the eye. Finally, I had elective surgery for reconstruction of my left ankle on May 2nd. I returned to work 4 days after surgery but I could not work too many hours because of severe pain that required pain medication. I will be unable to work a full schedule for another 5 weeks or more. Now, I have no extra money to pay medical bills and my living expenses. I am self-employed so I have no sick pay and my savings are gone. I need help to pay my bills and I don't know what else to do other than ask my friends and family for help. I understand if you cannot help financially. Please say a prayer for me instead.
