Support for Healing - Christine Ames-Hoke

Chris, Chrissy, Sisser, Mom, Grandma, Aunt Chritzy, Aunt Kissy—no matter how you know her, to know Christine is to love her. Her caring, kind, and generous nature is known to all. As a nurse by profession and a caregiver by nature, Christine has always been there for others. She has volunteered in community groups, offered continual support and nurturing to family members, friends, co-workers, patients, and even complete strangers. Over the years, Christine has faced and overcome many medical battles of her own, but it has never stopped her from fighting alongside others in their own struggles. She never hesitates to give back, no matter what she may need to sacrifice.

Christine’s latest battle is against breast cancer. Her prognosis is good, and we know she will do everything she can to overcome this challenge. She has already completed a lumpectomy and is currently undergoing radiation treatments to continue her positive progress. Christine has been fortunate to receive fantastic care from Oneida Health Breast Care, but unfortunately, this group is out-of-network for her health insurance. This means she will receive little to no financial assistance from her insurance, leaving her with significant medical bills and the added stress of lost work time.
