On Monday September 20th, 2021, Raphael was in a serious automobile accident resulting in a spinal cord injury and is currently admitted to Ben Taub neurosurgery ICU unit. Raphael has been a barber in the houston community for more than 20 yrs. He began his barbering career as a young adult in Savannah Georgia, later relocating to Houston, Texas where his vision of owning his own barbershop was born. Today, he is the owner of Headz Up! and BE EPIC barbershops and have attained a dedicated family of barbers. Raphael has developed many professional and personal relationships by offering his time and excellent customer service commitment to each and every client. I am asking his clients, friends, and love ones for help in supporting his vision by keeping Headz Up! and BE EPIC barbershop in operation.
