It is with heavy hearts that we share the sudden and tragic loss of Hassan— a beloved husband, father, friend, and student. Hassan was in his final semester of a graduate program at Northern Arizona University's School of Earth & Sustainability (NAU SES). He was known for his kindness, humility, and the warmth he brought to everyone he met— always greeting others with a big smile in the NAU halls and throughout the Flagstaff community.

On the morning of September 20, 2025, Hassan’s life was tragically cut short in a devastating car accident that is currently under investigation.

Hassan’s family is in the process of retrieving his body and planning a burial for him in the coming days. They are in urgent need of support to cover funeral expenses and to help his young family during this unimaginable time.

Hassan is survived by his wife and their two beautiful children. This fund will go directly toward:
