Hello my name is Meghan McDermott and my dog Harper is an extremely loving and and loyal furry member of our family. She recently got hit by a truck a few days ago and suffered from a blunt trauma injury and is at Oradell Animal Hospital. The past few days have been very difficult for Harper and our family; however, within a few days Harper has made great strides towards her recovery. Harper was consulted by an orthopedic surgeon for her pelvic and sacral fractures and was confirmed that she will not need surgery at this time. But she is still requiring critical monitoring, continuous pain management, and long term physical therapy. Although It will take 2-5 months for Harper to get on her four furry feet again, it will take 24/7 care to get her there. She currently requires critical monitoring, pain management, and IV fluid. The next few days are critical for her recovery. My family and I are putting everything towards her hospital bill and I am praying that people can see it in their hearts to donate any amount towards her speedy recovery.
