Hello, my name is Hannah. Our family car’s transmission went out 3 weeks after having our second son earlier this year. My car is a 2019 Ford Escape with only 40,000 miles, and I kept very good care & maintenance of it. It was primarily used only as a daily vehicle for myself and our boys for school drop-off and doctors appointments etc. Unfortunately Ford will not claim my vehicle is a lemon, even though negligent maintenance was done on my vehicle through them at a dealership and other documents prove otherwise. I had an engine block recall as well on my car, also happening within six months of my warranty ending. This is now its second engine in 10 months, and even after replacement and repairs, the car is now inoperative. We cannot afford to keep a roof over our heads and pay off the basically new car. But we are in need of a better, more reliable vehicle. We just have to pay off this one first to be able to do so. My husband is a United States Marine Corps veteran and works extremely hard to pay the bills to keep our family in good health. It hurts to see him work so hard for what feels like no progress— especially now around the holidays. We would really appreciate any help towards this situation.
