Hannah and William Green are walking through an unexpected and incredibly challenging season as they prepare to welcome their twin babies much earlier than planned.
At just 26 weeks pregnant, while on a family trip to the South Carolina coast, Hannah experienced complications that led to a diagnosis of PPROM (preterm premature rupture of membranes). She was quickly transferred to McLeod Regional Medical Center (a hospital specially equipped for high-risk pregnancies and premature births). By God’s grace, Hannah and both babies are currently stable, but she will remain hospitalized until delivery, with a goal of reaching 34 weeks.
While this hospital is exactly where Hannah and the babies need to be (thanks to its expertise in neonatal care) insurance will not cover a transfer closer to home because of the specialized level of care she is receiving.
This means their family is now facing a long and difficult road away from home.
William is working hard to continue providing for his family while making a 10-hour round trip to be with Hannah as often as possible. Once the twins arrive, they are expected to spend time in the NICU, and Hannah and William will need to stay nearby so they can be close to their babies during this critical time.
We are asking for support to help ease the financial burden of:
• Frequent long-distance travel for William
• Lodging near the hospital during Hannah’s stay and the babies’ NICU care
• Meals and daily expenses while away from home
Through it all, Hannah and William remain grounded in their faith, trusting God and leaning on their community for strength. They are incredibly grateful for the prayers, love, and support that have already surrounded them.
If you feel led to give, your generosity will help this family focus on what matters most - caring for Hannah, supporting their sweet son Koalson, and preparing to welcome their two precious babies into the world.
Most importantly, we ask for your continued prayers for Hannah, the twins, William, big brother Koalson, and their entire family in the weeks ahead.
