Our family’s world changed forever two days ago. We are heartbroken to share the sudden passing of Rebecca Dew at the young age of 40. Rebecca was a devoted single mother whose entire world revolved around her son, Hank. In a tragic turn of events, she passed away just one day before Hank’s birthday—an occasion that should have been filled with joy, now marked by an unimaginable loss.

While the pain of losing his mother is immense, Hank is not alone. His Uncle Luke and Aunt Jessica have stepped forward without hesitation. Hank is being welcomed into their home permanently, joining his two cousins, Michael (16) and Thomas (11), who love him like a brother. Together, they are becoming a family of five, united by love and resilience.

As Luke and Jessica navigate the sudden logistical and emotional challenges of this new family journey, our goal is to ensure that Hank’s future remains secure. We are establishing a dedicated Custodial Account for Hank. All donations to this page will go directly toward educational expenses, ensuring Hank has the resources for high school and a path to college; support and stability, helping with the immediate costs of his transition into his new home; and long-term security, providing a foundation for the life his mother worked so hard to build for him.
