Dear Friends,
I am Vicki Millar from Laie, now living in the SF Bay Area, and my daughter is facing an incredibly challenging time due to the severe flooding in and around her town of Haleiwa, Hawaii. The unexpected disaster left her unable to evacuate on her own. She has lost her car ($14,000 value), as well as all of her work supplies, plus her washing machine. With more rain expected, the uncertainty and stress continue to grow, making it even harder for her to recover and move forward.
The funds raised will go directly toward helping her replace her transportation and essential work supplies, so she can begin to rebuild her daily life and livelihood. If the situation worsens, these donations will also provide a safety net for any urgent needs that may arise, such as temporary housing or emergency expenses. Every contribution, no matter the size, will make a meaningful difference in her recovery.
