Hi, my name is Wes, and I’m reaching out on behalf of my mom, my family, and most importantly—my dad, Timothy Gwisdala.

After years of resilience, dialysis treatments, and quietly facing down chronic illness, my dad has made the incredibly brave decision to stop dialysis and enter hospice care.

He’s now being cared for at the Toni & Trish House in Fisherville, Michigan—a nonprofit hospice located on the same sacred grounds where our family spent over 30 years building our life together. From Sunday school and confirmations to my sister’s wedding, this place is woven into our family’s history. To have him spend his final days here feels heartbreakingly full-circle. It’s where we became a family, and now it’s where we’re saying goodbye.
