My kitten Guppy was diagnosed with feline leukemia and given less than 6 months to live last month. She had undergone testing before she was introduced into the household and her tests incorrectly flagged as negative for leukemia and we vaccinated her. This allowed the infection to silently grow worse and flare up once she was spayed. She has also spread leukemia to my other cat, Squid. These cats are the world to me and the fact that this is happening has devastated my life. I work full time and do whatever I can to make ends meet and provide them the best food and care, but suddenly my household is just the three of us and I don’t qualify for any form of credit line. I want to be able to provide her whatever possible to make these last few months of her life comfortable and so I am coming here to ask for help. She requires constant checkups, vitamin/supplements, and various medications due to the current progression of her leukemia. Squid also will require this throughout her remaining years to stay healthy. Anything will help at this point and is deeply appreciated.
