Hello everyone,
I’m writing this with a heavy heart on behalf of a family member residing on Guam that means the world to our family. She is a devoted mom of three and a proud grandmother of two little girls who absolutely light up her life. Her world revolves around her children and granddaughters — school activities, family time, simple everyday moments — she never misses a chance to be there for them.
Over the past several months, she has been quietly struggling with serious health issues, in and out of clinics/hospitals, and has had a few surgeries that she has been through while keeping it from us so we don't have to worry. She’s diagnosed with Metrorrhagia with chronic Abnormal Uterine Bleeding, Type 2 Diabetes, Anemia , Low Blood, & an autoimmune disorder, conditions that have caused constant physical pain, exhaustion, and emotional stress.
After trying multiple treatments, her doctors have determined that a hysterectomy (removal of the uterus) is now necessary. This is a major surgery, and she has been advised that she will be out of work for at least two months to recover properly.
For someone who is always active, independent, smiling, and full of life, this has been incredibly difficult. She loves reading, watching anime, exploring new foods, and trying new experiences — but most of all, she treasures the time she spends with her kids and granddaughters. The thought of being unable to work, provide, and stay as active as she’s used to has been emotionally overwhelming.
During her recovery, she will still face everyday expenses and medical costs, but without her regular income. As her family, we want her to focus on healing — not worrying about how she will manage financially.
We are asking for any support you may be able to give during this difficult time. Whether it be through donations, prayers, or even sharing this post can help more than you know. Thank you for your kindness, compassion, and for lifting her up when she needs it most.
