My name is Guadalupe, My Partner Angel and I are reaching out during the most difficult time of our lives. At eight months pregnant through a sperm donor and self insemination, I began experiencing serious heart complications and preeclampsia. I was admitted to the hospital three times, each visit filled with hope and fear. On January 16, after many attempts to save my baby, I received the devastating news that my baby’s heart was no longer beating. This loss comes less than a year after losing my father in March. I had been preparing for my baby, gathering everything needed, but never had the chance to celebrate with a gender reveal or baby shower. Now, I find myself in the ICU, fighting for my own health while also facing the unimaginable task of planning a funeral for my baby. The emotional and physical pain is overwhelming, but we are doing our best to get through each day. I am asking for help to cover the hospital bills and funeral expenses that have come so suddenly.
