I am reaching out for help as I face one of the most difficult times in my life. After working for 30 months at Amazon Fresh, I lost my job when I was attacked twice at work. Fearing for my safety, I left before a third incident could happen, and as a result, I was fired. Since then, the company has gone out of business, leaving me without the possibility of returning or seeking support from my former employer.

Now, I am struggling to cover my most basic needs. I am 61 years old and live with both mental and physical disabilities, which makes finding new work especially challenging. I am currently fighting eviction due to non-payment of rent, and I am worried about how I will afford groceries and utilities while I search for a new job. Every day is a challenge, but I am doing my best to stay hopeful and keep moving forward.
