Tragedy has struck our community with the sudden loss of a bright and vibrant 18-year-old. Last Monday, she suffered a devastating stroke and blood clots, bravely enduring two surgeries in Mobile. Despite the medical team's best efforts, the swelling on her brain ultimately took her life.

This heartbreaking loss occurred during her senior year of high school, robbing her of the promise and potential that lay ahead.
