Greyson Wathen recently suffered a traumatic accident when a projectile from a lawnmower struck his eye. The injury was severe, leaving him without vision in his right eye and requiring urgent surgery at the John’s Hopkins Wilmer Eye Institute. Thankfully, the medical team at John’s Hopkins were able to save his eye, but the road to recovery will be long and uncertain. Throughout this ordeal, Lexie has been by Greyson’s side, caring for him and managing the emotional and practical challenges that come with such a life-changing event.
As Lexie will likely be unable to work full time to support Greyson during his recovery, the financial strain will be immense. Donations to this fundraiser will help cover Greyson’s medical bills and provide Lexie with the support she needs while they navigate this tragic situation. Every contribution will make a real difference, easing the burden and allowing them to focus on healing and hope.
Lexie would probably be too proud to ask for help herself, but Her and Greyson truly need the support of their community to get through the next few months. Any help at all would be greatly appreciated, and if you could keep Greyson in your prayers in hopes that his eyesight returns to his right eye, that would mean the world to them.
