Greg Farr is one of my closest friends. We’ve known each other since high school, and I’ve seen firsthand what a devoted husband and father he is. Right now, Greg and his family are facing an unimaginable crisis.
Greg’s wife is currently in a coma, and while in that state she has also suffered a stroke. Her condition is extremely serious, and the future remains very uncertain.
During this time, Greg has been left to care for their three children—two boys and one girl—on his own. With no family available to help watch the kids, he had no choice but to stop working so he could be there for them and support his wife during this incredibly difficult time.
Unfortunately, because Greg had not been at his job for more than a year, he was denied FMLA leave, which put his job at risk while he tried to hold everything together for his family.
Thankfully, Greg has been able to arrange childcare and will be able to return to work on Monday. However, the time he had to miss from work has already created a heavy financial burden for the family. On top of the emotional stress of his wife’s critical condition, Greg is now trying to catch up on bills and continue providing for his children during an incredibly difficult and uncertain time.
I’m starting this fundraiser to help Greg and his children cover essential living expenses while they navigate this crisis. Donations will help with basic needs like housing, food, utilities, and other bills so Greg can focus on caring for his kids and supporting his wife through this fight.
Any support—big or small—will make a meaningful difference for Greg and his family. If you’re unable to donate, sharing this fundraiser would mean so much.
Thank you for your kindness, prayers, and support during this incredibly difficult time. God bless you all.
Just a little update. Sara is still in the icu. showing some improvement but still very sick. Grayson Gabriel and Gemma miss their mom, but are very strong and are doing pretty good with the circumstances. They recently got new clothes and are styling. Greg has stepped up and is doing very good with his kids. Please keep the Farr family in your thoughts and prayers. I along with the Farr family would like to thank everyone for the donations and thoughts and prayers. Will give another update soon!!
