On Monday, my nephew Grayson was life flighted to Denver from Kalispell after doctors suspected lymphoma. After being assessed by a wonderful team of oncologists, he was diagnosed with Burkitt's lymphoma, stage 4. Grayson will begin chemotherapy today, starting with a lighter round for a week, followed by the first of six full cycles which will take approximately 6 months. The first round will take place in Denver, and we are hopeful he can return to Kalispell to complete the remaining five cycles closer to home.
This diagnosis has turned their world upside down, but we are grateful for the incredible medical team and the support of our loved ones. The journey ahead will involve significant travel between Kalispell and Denver, as well as many unexpected expenses. The funds raised here will help cover the costs of medical travel and essential living expenses, allowing Grayson and his family to focus on his treatment and recovery.
We are so blessed with people who love and care for the Hookers. If God is leading you in any way to support the Hooker family, we would be forever grateful for your kindness, prayers, and generosity. Every bit of support means the world to us as we walk this road together.
