update :3/11 - my grandpa has been put under hospice care. His health has declined drastically over the last couple of weeks, doctors are making him as comfortable as possible as this is all that can be done for him. As we prepare for this we continue to ask for donations . Thank you to everyone that has shared/donated/prayers . update :03/02 Grandpa is being taken to a hospital in San Antonio for a second opinion, due to the drastic decline. Prayers appreciated

update:2/10 Grandpa is being transported to a rehab facility , doctors are saying he may have had a stroke the reason for his sudden weakness and foggy mind.

Any donation to assist with hospital bills is appreciated as his insurance only covered a portion of the costs we are looking at an average $300 out of pocket cost for each day in the hospital which was 9 days.

Hi everyone i’m starting this go fund me for my grandpa Fernando Sanchez Jr. (75 years) . Unfortunately he had 2 falls in one day Monday (February 3) and he has been in the hospital since . Of course with Hospital visits come the expenses , he has had MRIs , x-rays, and PT daily which his private insurance does not cover. As of today the doctors have not provided any medical diagnosis and his stays in the hospital continue which means the bills are piling. My grandpa is one of the kindest souls you’ll meet , he still works at our local bowling alley to pay his bills to keep his home and put food on the table for him and his wife . He served in the Army National Guard from 1968 - 1974, E6 Staff Sargent 3 bars and 3 bars down .
